MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Mulliken
Dr. Mulliken is a fully Licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the State of Maine. He is a graduate of National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon (2001).
​
After practicing medicine briefly in Montana, Dr. Mulliken returned to Maine and has been in practice in the Kennebunk area since 2002. Dr. Mulliken has been treating Lyme Disease and Tick-Borne Illness since 2002. He has lectured extensively on the topic of Tick-Borne Illness and is considered by many to be one of the experts in this field.

Dr. Mulliken also focuses on Environmental Illness / Toxicity, Irritable Bowel Disease / Healing the Gut, Auto-Immune Conditions including treatment of Thyroid, Nutritional Deficiencies /Food Sensitivities, Celiac Disease and many other illnesses in General Medicine.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Mulliken has 4 years of training in Herbal Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Clinical Nutrition and Biochemistry, as well as training in the Conventional Medicine Model of identifying Illness and the Disease process. Dr. Mulliken has also completed training in the use of Low Level Laser and is certified to do so.

As part of the Naturopathic Philosophy, Dr. Mulliken believes that it is essential to discover the true cause of Illness...which then opens the way toward obtaining Optimal Health and Healing.
Dr. Caprio
Dr. Caprio as a D.O. is a fully licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Maine. A Graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997.

After one year of Residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, she returned to Maine to complete a Residency in Neuromuskuloskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, also at the University of New England.
​
Dr. Caprio has been in practice in the Kennebunk area since 2000. Her primary focus is Outpatient Pain Management utilizing Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Dr. Caprio is also certified in Low Level Laser Treatment and has been utilizing Laser Treatment successfully for over 10 years with her patients.

Dr. Caprio, along with Dr. Mulliken believes in discovering the True Cause of Illness while incorporating basic Nutritional and Dietary changes to obtain optimal Wellness and Healthy Aging.

Dr. Caprio sees patients of all ages but is currently on a leave of absence.
